Description Of Damage: |
Side swiped roadside bank on left side at front. Front bumper is poor. Hood & fenders are fair. Grille is good with minor damage. A/C condenser, A/C compressor, air compressor, charge air cooler fan & fan clutch are good. Radiator is fair with core starting to rot and lower tank rusted. Upper radiator hose torn. Engine, engine brake, heads, block, oil pan, starter, turbo & flywheel housing appear good. Turbo elbow to charge air cooler separated due to clamp failure, no obvious damage. Steer axle pushed back on left side, possibly bent, same with left spindle. All steer axle U-bolts sheared off. Left steer spring poor, right questionable. Right spindle and steer brakes okay. Steer shoe linings very low, may be down to rivets. Left steer brake fair. Probable steering box internal damage. Steering fluid reservoir poor. Right air cleaner good, left fair with some small dents. Cowl top and sides good with minor wear. Windshields are good. Cab, front cab mounts, left cab door & roof are good. Right cab door oxidized and latch handle rotted through. Brown vinyl VIT interior is fair. Cab floor is wet, not loss related. Base plate/mounts for accelerator, brake pedal, seat base etc., have oxidation & rust from water/moisture. Dash, AM/FM/ST/CD, instruments, 17 gauges & right power window are good. Seats are fair. 60” Aerodyne sleeper is fair. Sleeper interior, compartments, upper & lower bunks are good. Sleeper roof air deflector and left rear sleeper mount are good. Right sleeper rear mount is fair. Vertical extenders are poor. Transmission & bell housing are good. Battery box is fair, needs lower step and step mounting brackets. Right tool box is good. 2 aluminum 150 gallon fuel tanks are good. Dual exhaust is good. Chassis frame appears good, may have minor damage due to nature of this loss. Differentials, power divider, drive axle housings, drive brakes & AG100 drive suspension appear good. Fontaine A/S 5th wheel appears okay. 5 Budd aluminum hub pilot wheels good, 1 poor, and 4 steel good.
