Examination of the rear of the vehicle revealed ventilation fire damage to an opening in the upper part of the cab. Further examination revealed no other damage to the rear of the vehicle. The examination of the left side of the vehicle revealed overhaul and fire damage to the engine cowling nearest the firewall. The engine was visible from the location of the left-front tire due to the large opening in the engine cowling.
The right side of the interior compartment revealed thermal damage to the plastic and composite components as a result of exposure. Damage was directional to the driver side. The left side of the interior compartment revealed fire damage from exposure that was directional to the engine compartment. |
