t the time of the accident, the trailer was
loaded with 18,948 kg of fresh pork and ham fat. The product was loosely packed on 22 skids inside
of cardboard totes containing one single plastic bag. Prior to the accident, the skids were loaded to
within 4 feet of the rear doors.
On impact, all of the product shifted forward slamming into the front of the trailer blowing it outwards, it also Pressed outwards on the side panels on both sides the trailer causing them to, bending damaging lower side rails. |
