Awarding of Salvage:
The information provided will explain the process of awarding salvage.
Overview:
Big Truck Salvage is a tool used by insurance companies, salvage resellers and individuals to advertise their salvage to the largest pool of buyers. Once the salvage finishes the auction process, BTS issues the bid results to the seller. Acting on those results, the seller either awards the salvage to the highest bidder or retains the salvage. Upon deciding to award the salvage to the highest bidder, the seller is then responsible for contacting the buyer by fax, phone or e-mail to make arrangements for payment, pick-up, and transfer of title. The sales transaction between the buyer and seller is handled strictly by the seller of the salvage, not Big Truck Salvage.
