Truck in shop - shop caught fire resulting in damage to the truck. Per the shop, the insured's truck came in for diagnosis for a power loss and they had just started disassembly of the engine when the following day the fire occurred. Due to the engine being open the engine and transmission would need to be replaced and also due to the length of time this unit has sat outside in the open weather. The truck also has smoke damage to the paint and fuel tanks that will need to be buffed and polished. The interior will also need an extensive cleaning. The truck appears to be a total loss. |
