This unit was struck on the left front corner by OV. The damage includes the quick release Herd bumper guard, Herd bumper mount, grille assembly, hood assembly, hood hinge assembly, lift assist cylinders, A/C condenser, ATA charge cooler, radiator assembly, radiator stay rods, radiator lower cross members, power steering reservoir, left steer tire, driver's door skin, left side cowl panel, visor, windshield, driver's side mirror assembly. the frame also has minor damage to the front of both rails. |

Some repairs have been done on this unit including repair of the the driver's door, which have not been painted and the visor damage has been repaired, but not painted. The Windshield has been replaced as well as the intake mainfold gasket.
This unit is an extrememly well maintained and clean unit. The interior is very clean and all cab/sleeper parts are good. The APU was not damaged in the accident.
The unit underwent a low end rebuild 148,207 miles ago, which included an overhaul kit, rod bearings and mains at a cost of $12,170.58. We have the records for this. It also had a new power divider rebuilt 90,713 miles ago. We have the repair record for this. The insured told us he had the top end rebuilt but we do not have any records to support that. |
